HEY WHICH CODEC IS BETTER IN OVERALL PICTURE QUALITY MKV, VC1, MPEG4.

LETS SAY A VIDEO FILE IS IN 720P HDDVD RIP OR BLU RAY RIP AND IS 4.38GB IN SIZE

WHICH CODEC WOULD HAVE THE MOST STUNNING RESULTS? I PREFER MPEG4 THEN VC1 THEN MKV. IS THERE REALLY A DIFFERENCE?

Technically each of those are a compression video format. Getting a raw rip of either would give the best picture quality.

I don't think that there is much difference, but generally I would think .mkv would give the best picture quality.
I'm not an expert so don't hold me to it Grin
