linux links please

hello, im looking for links to download linux operating systems, im looking for one that is able to be very easy to set up a server. i tried ubuntu, but every time i tried, it said that the kernal was missing...

its still ubuntu, but a different variant, made for ease of server....use? lol
um, whenever i install a linux os i use the live cd, i reccomend dling the live cd, booting from that, deciding if you like it, then installing from the live cd, that requires re-booting from the live cd, and choosing "install from live cd" or something of the like, hope this helps, if not, pm me
